What you will be working on:
As a Senior Unified Communications Engineer, you'll provide advanced solutions to complex problems, focusing on enhancing end-user experiences in IT. You will play a crucial role in ensuring operational safety and intelligence, supporting our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA.
- Design and define system architecture for new or existing computer systems.
- Oversee complex infrastructure and system modeling, simulation, and analysis.
- Perform advanced tasks related to system security, backup, and redundancy.
- Develop and maintain process and procedure documentation.
- Collaborate with management to implement system changes and activities.
- Support Tier 2 and 3 operations, manage project deployment, and oversee daily operations of customer phones.
- Manage Unified Communications infrastructure and tools like Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco IM&Presence, and Microsoft Teams.
- Develop and execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and detailed documentation.
What you will bring to us:
Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
- Strong knowledge of Unified Communications design and administration.
- Expertise in various collaboration tools, Cisco Jabber, and Microsoft Teams.
- Proficiency in Unified Communications system administration.
- Expertise in data analysis and manipulation with tools like MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8+ years of related systems engineering experience in Unified Communications.
