You'll be exposed to, and will contribute to, the development and application of innovative technologies such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, and advanced data analytics.
What you will be working on:
As the Junior Software Environment Engineer, you will incrementally build functionality for DevSecOps product verticals.
- Familiar with the SAFe agile process
- Participate in sprint planning and release planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other agile related events
- Update agile tracking systems to provide transparency on product and sprint to include user stories and backlogs
- Learn and become a pivotal developer for Blackspoke's future work
What you will bring to us (Must):
- Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph
- Current DoD IAT II Level certification or the ability to obtain one successfully within 90 days of hire
- Associate Degree (Bachelors preferred) in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science or related. Will consider experience or success coding challenge in lieu of degree.
- Basic prophecies in 2 or more scripting and/or coding languages
- Python or PowerShell
- .Net, Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript & various Frameworks
- SQL, PHP, Ruby, Web Dev
- Data or ETL languages
Would be nice if you bring the following (Highly Desired):
- 2+ years of experience working within the DoD or IC Community
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science or related
- Industry certifications such as: Certified Scrum Master, Azure / AWS certs, Software Development or SDLC certs
- Understanding of DevSecOps and /or software/application development processes
- Familiarity with programming or scripting languages (i.e., Javscript, Python, etc.)
- Experience with web-based Knowledge Management and workflow tools
