ERG seeks a senior engineer/scientist and project manager to join a rapidly growing practice area and national team of dedicated water professionals. This position requires expertise in U.S. drinking water regulations, program implementation, infrastructure funding and finance, and engineering and environmental science. Job Description:
- The ideal candidate possesses exceptional management, organizational, and communication skills; is comfortable leading a multidisciplinary team of analysts, engineers, scientists, and outreach and communications specialists; and has a strong background in environmental planning, environmental policy, and water resources
Qualifications and Skills:
- At least 15 years of experience supporting drinking water program implementation at the state or federal level
- Knowledge of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA)
- Understanding of and experience with federal programs for funding water infrastructure
- Knowledge of water system design, operation, and maintenance
- Proficiency in developing guidance documents, training materials, and SOPs related to drinking water regulations
- Other relevant scientific and engineering experience across the drinking water, wastewater, and/or stormwater sectors
- Demonstrated ability to maintain long-term client relationships and engage prospective new clients
- MS or Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Ideal Candidates will have:
- A Professional Engineer license
- Complementary Clean Water Act (CWA) or other water quality experience and understanding of CWA regulations and programs
- National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) experience
$95,000 - $130,000 a year

The salary range for all positions depends on the years and type of experience.
