Ads is the fuel that powers Reddit’s mission to bring community, belonging, and empowerment to everyone in the world. The Advertiser Platform organization owns the frontend and backend of ads.reddit.com, the core advertiser-facing product on Reddit.
We are looking for a talented and ambitious software engineer to join our Ads Reporting team within the Advertiser Platform organization! The team is responsible for providing data and visualizations to advertisers that proves the value of their campaigns on Reddit. Your work will be focused on four key areas:
- New Reporting Functionality – Give advertisers more tools to slice and dice their data
- New Product Features - Ads Reporting owns more than just advertiser reporting data, which includes platform notifications and recommendations
- Product Quality – Build enhancements to existing features for better ease of use
- Data Retention – Providing expanded access to an advertiser’s historical data
- Speed and stability – Improving our systems to get data into an advertiser’s hands as quickly and reliably as possible
The team consists of full stack engineers, and will own reporting products end-to-end. You’ll work with cutting edge technologies like Apache Druid to provide real time analytics to Reddit’s customers.
Reddit is continuing to grow our teams with the best talent. We're completely remote friendly, and the team is currently split between the east and west coasts of the US.
Responsibilities
- Design and build end-to-end technical solutions to customer problems
- Contribute to the team’s highest priorities through feature development
- Partner with our data processing and data warehousing teams to make data available to advertisers
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to discover and build new reporting products
- Actively participate and grow the team’s culture and processes, and bring your own unique perspective to the group
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Experience partnering with product managers and designers to build new user-facing products
- Experience in either backend, frontend, or both works for us. As long as you’re willing and excited to learn and jump into a new area, experience in the specific languages and frameworks the team uses is not required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data visualization or processing/exporting bulk data
- Experience in or knowledge about the Ads industry

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. The base pay range for this position is:
$157,400—$236,100 USD
