Job Description:
The Business Development Analyst plays an essential role on a small team responsible for real estate development & commercial leasing in Eastern Pennsylvania. This job includes both a commercial leasing function and a broader business development function. An enterprising spirit and creative problem-solving skills are essential for effective daily collaboration with internal real estate departments/disciplines. This position supports the team with data analysis, documentation, research, and client-facing support.
Responsibilities
· Commercial Leasing
o Support prospecting and outreach by working in collaboration with marketing and subject matter experts to generate new clients and expand sales opportunities.
o Manage sales leads, participate in prospect & site tours, and proactively correspond with prospects and tenants as needed.
o Play an active role in the client engagement process by collaborating with all company departments including finance, development, marketing, and property management.
o Assist and track business leasing efforts through the use of CRM software including Salesforce.
o Draft, review, and manage contracts & correspondence in connection with leasing.
· Business Development
o Participate in the discovery and demand feasibility of new commercial and multi-family real estate opportunities, including by performing various qualitative and quantitative analyses.
o Draft, review, and manage contracts & correspondence in connection with acquisitions.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university required.
· Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience and/or training.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong organizational and analytical skills, including strong Microsoft Excel skills
· Ability to respond to inquiries effectively and efficiently from clients, co-workers, supervisors, and/or management.
· Ability to effectively present information
· Experience in financial modeling and valuations preferred.
· Knowledgeable of real estate terminology, contracts, and agreements preferred
· Ability to solve problems involving multiple options and scenarios.
· Requires intermediate analytical skills and contract knowledge.
· Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.)
· Proficient use of Salesforce
