Component Solutions Group’s Automotive Fastener Division is looking for an experienced sales representative who is ready to demonstrate their strategic business development skills. We are seeking an experienced sales professional with an energetic attitude, integrity, and professionalism to join our organization. This role has an existing client base to help propel the right individual to success!
You’ll work alongside professional engineers, operators, and supply chain specialists, combined with a senior management team focusing on professional growth and personal development.
Responsibilities Include:
· Call on, and service existing accounts, explain our offerings, obtain orders, troubleshoot customer problems, etc.
· Generate new account opportunities by properly planning and organizing your daily workload
· Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects
· Create, plan, and deliver presentations on company products & solutions
· Track all sales activities and keep management updated and informed regularly on your activities
· Maintain a well-developed pipeline of opportunities with prospects
· Develop strong, ongoing relationships with current customers and future prospects
· Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize sales and customer satisfaction
· Continually keep up with industry trends
· Other requirements as needed to successfully increase the annual volume of your book
Qualifications:
· Previous industrial sales experience is a must. Fastener sales experience is preferred
· High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
· Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
· Willing to travel via road and air, some overnights required
An engineering degree or background is a plus
· Excellent interpersonal skills and highly self-motivated a must-have
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· 2D print reading experience required
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (excel, word, outlook, etc.)
Additional knowledge of mechanical fasteners, precision machining, sort and containment, and light custom assembly is a plus.
