ABOUT THE POSITION:
This position will be within Fluence’s software engineering team working on the Nispera Asset Performance Management (APM) platform. The role will be based in Fluence’s excellence center in Bangalore and will report to the Nispera software engineering team located in India and Europe. As a Data Acquisition System Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining fully automated data connectors to many kinds of data sources ranging from industrial SCADA systems to our clients’ custom databases and APIs. Besides data acquisition related tasks, you will also on-board new clients together with their power plants to the Nispera platform and develop tools to streamline our daily data-acquisition and on-boarding related operations.
Key responsibilities include
- Develop and maintain new and existing data connectors
- Design and develop ELT pipelines
- Solve operational issues related to the data feeds and pipelines
- On-board new clients and power plants
- Streamline daily operations
- Support internal and external clients in DataOps and data acquisition related topics

Must have
BSc or higher in computer science or a closely related field3+ years of professional experience in software developmentSolid programming skills in PythonExperience in interacting with Restful servicesHands on experience in relational databasesProven ability to meet deadlines and deliver solutions quickly at high qualityExperience in linux environments and command line toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English
