ABOUT THE POSITION:
This position will be within Fluence’s software engineering team working on the Nispera Asset Performance Management platform. The role will be based in Fluence’s excellence center in Bangalore and will report to the Nispera software engineering team located in India and Europe. As a Junior Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the product development team in a variety of client on-boarding and data acquisition related operations such as troubleshooting connectivity issues, data transformation and optimizing internal processes.
Key responsibilities include
- On-board new clients and power plants
- Support software engineers in daily operations
- Coordinate client requests and solve DataOps issues
- Develop and optimize internal software tools to streamline operations
- Maintain documentation
- Model and cultivate a culture of inclusivity, trust, exceptional communication, collaboration, respect, continuous learning, and enthusiasm for our work
Must have
BSc or higher in computer science or a closely related fieldAt least one year of professional working experience in software developmentHands-on experience in programming in PythonExperience in solving IT issuesProven ability to meet deadlines and deliver solutions quickly at high qualityExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice to have
Experience in linux environments and command line toolsKnowledge of cloud infrastructures and servicesExperience in Jira and ConfluenceHands on experience in solving networking problemsBasic knowledge of the renewables energy industry•Familiarity with Agile methodology
