Description
Leidos, Dynetics, Group is seeking a talented Senior Software / Radar Engineer to join a diverse, highly skilled team to create unique solutions for complex problems involving radar systems. We have offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective intelligence, engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
In this role you will support advanced technology radar programs including software for high-speed data acquisition, distribution, and real-time processing; integration of COTS and custom technologies into prototype sensor systems; field testing of RF sensors and systems; and CONUS/OCONUS deployment of advanced sensor systems.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science degree from an ABET-accredited school with a strong demonstration of the skills listed below.
10 years or more of experience in software or radar systems development.
Experience or be willing to lead a team of engineers in software development while overseeing tasking, code reviews, configuration management, and other team lead activities.
Must have excellent teamwork skills and possess and show good fundamentals in the following:
Modern C++ development
Real-time Linux and device driver development
-Candidate with additional skills in the following is preferred:
· NVIDIA CUDA GPU development / optimization
· ZeroMQ and pub/sub frameworks
-Candidate must be able to apply these skills to the areas of radar and EW system development, implementation of digital signal processing and tracking algorithms, and field testing of sensor systems.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
