Polygon is in search of a candidate that has a “Hunter” mentality, entrepreneurial mindset and internally motivated. At the direction of the Business Unit Manager, this role will effectively communicate and sell Polygon solutions for the growth and expansion of the assigned territory.
Essential Job Functions:
Prospecting and face to face cold calls
Field level Lunch & Learns, presentations and demonstrations
Track record of solutions sales success and out of the box thinking
Conduct client needs analysis via discovery conversations with proficiency in all Polygon service lines
Attend local association events and participate in professional organizations in a manner that expands the awareness of Polygon and ensures follow-up directly with the clients
Manage clients throughout the lifecycle of their contract
Develop a territory business plan to support Polygons sales and strategic initiatives
Utilize LinkedIn and marketing approved social media to highlight field level successes and the value of Polygon
Regularly introduce the benefits and value proposition of Polygon solutions to the client and decision maker in the field
Originate new business and cultivate relationships for year over year sales revenue growth
Build and maintain strong local relationships with existing clients and key prospective clients
Estimate, quote and close business necessary to meet revenue and sales objectives in assigned territory
Develop, maintain and grow a quality opportunity pipeline in the company CRM that supports Polygon sales and strategic initiatives
Regularly update and maintain the company CRM with sales activities
Effectively collaborate and communicate with Project Manager, Business Unit Manager, and Director of Client Development to ensure projects are completed in accordance with original estimates and quotes
Ability to forecast pipeline revenue
Provide consistent and superior customer experience
Complete sales metrics reports per the Company process
Job Qualifications:
2-3 years business-to-business customer facing sales or a combination of inside/outside sales
Experience is preferred in a market specific industry (i.e. commercial construction, restoration, renovations, industrial, manufacturing sales, etc.)
Must have a history of successful sales origination (not lead provided / response appointments)
Strong organizational, negotiating, relationship and presentation skills
Developed sales skills and the ability to accomplish multiple tasks
Ability to plan and schedule sales activity using contact relationship software
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
A responsible and conscientious nature

Diligence and excellent quality and attention to detail
