Senior User Experience Developer
We are hiring creative, passionate, and driven UX Developer to join our UX Design and Research team. As a user-centered design professional, you will take responsibility for developing and maintaining our Sales Prototypes. Managing a team of front-end developers, you will work closely with our UX design teams, our product management and product marketing teams and other software developers to identify new features, product capabilities, and interactions that can be simulated to highlight the best features of our products. These prototypes help our sales teams to demonstrate features that are currently in development, but not released to customers.
You are an experienced, UX-focused front-end user interface developer with an understanding of the design-thinking process and a keen eye for user-centered design. As a proven collaborator, you’ve worked within UX Teams to assist in creation of feature development for web and mobile products.
Using modern front-end libraries such as Angular, React or Swift you create and maintain clean and efficient coded prototypes, reusable UI components, and help generate UI requirements using software development best-practices. You have experience working in various types of product development environments such as Agile and Lean and know the strategies and practices necessary for organizing and developing responsive web product solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Build front-end UI Sales demonstration prototypes using current design standards.
- Work closely with product marketing to develop a prioritized backlog of key features and product capabilities for the sales demonstrations.
- Create and maintain a simulation dashboard to initiate interactions and trigger features.
- Work with development team to ensure UI components are reusable, and assist in visual testing efforts to ensure design quality is maintained.
- Collaborate with design team to support and contribute to UX design standards.
- Champion accessibility as a core part of front-end code development.
- Collaborate with Product Development teams to mentor and train on front-end best practices.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Minimum 5 year combination of responsive front-end design and development experience.
- Strong technical and design communication skills.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with cross-platform development tools React, Angular.
- Proficiency in Figma.
- Effective time-management.
- Experience developing UI reusable components.
- Experience leading a team of front-end developers.
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite (2 days a week) at one of the listed location options.
