As a Fullstack Engineer (Java focused), you'll be part of a regional EMEA IT Payments team who will develop, maintain and support back-end payments related services and interfaces processing SEPA payments, SWIFT messages and internal accounting entries or will be building front-end services used internally across European region. One of Bank's core banking system and surrounding set of external applications are replaced by a new software solution. The project focuses on the modernization of an infrastructure and impacts all IT teams of which one of them being a Regional EMEA Payments IT team and the system & service portfolio we develop, maintain and support.
THINGS YOU WILL DO
- Development, maintenance, and support (DevOps) services using Java with Spring Boot
- Managing payment services portfolio hosted on cloud and on-premises hosting,
- Development, maintenance, and support of service-related interfaces (its orchestration layer) using set of APIs or microservices patterns as for the solution,
- Using Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, RTC, G3, Nexus etc. for artifact management and wherein the code release mechanism
- Following Agile & DevOps working methodology and tools (Jira, Confluence, SharePoint etc.).
- Working with Business Analysts, Project/Product Managers to understand business requirements and how they translate into development sprints
TECH STACK: Java 8+/Java 17 pref., Spring, Spring Boot, SQL, Oracle-pref, REST API, microservices, Javascript, React, GIT, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE
- around 2-4 years of experience as a Java Developer
- experience with Javascript, React
- knowledge of relational databases: SQL, Oracle
- experience with microservices
- experience with some cloud would be beneficial
- excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Bachelor/Master Degree in Computer Science or related topic
