Why should I apply?
You will be key in helping maximise our cash flow position by ensuring our levels of debt and unbilled are kept to a minimum.
You will help facilitate sustainable growth, develop strong customer relationships, and protect the company’s profits and margins. This is accomplished by minimizing exposure to bad debt and maintaining an acceptable level of risk by collecting overdue accounts.
How will I spend my time in this role?
- To ensure all debt whether related to Management Agencies or key accounts is managed and tracked daily;
- This will be done primarily by making an agreed number of telephone calls daily to all debtors in a given priority, whichever is a focus area at the time;
- To support with validation of change of tenancy and change of management agency details;
- Management and oversight of companies placed in legal status to ensure recovery of all outstanding balances;
- Liaise with 3rd Party debt collection agencies where necessary and ensure we provide accurate and timely information whilst adhering to our compliance policies;
- Create bespoke reports for both external and internal customers;
- Work closely with the Customer Services Executives, Sales Teams and Credit Risk Team to ensure cash flow maximisation is achieved whilst maintaining our high level of Customer Service;
- Actively support ongoing process improvements;
- Observe and actively promote the Debt Team Mission and Values.
What skills/experience do I need to be successful?
Demonstrable experience within a customer service environment;
Resilient and comfortable working in a sometimes demanding environment;
Strong negotiation and influencing skills;
A friendly and open approach to collaborating and working with other teams to help achieve company goals.

Hybrid working typically means 2 days in the office location listed on this advert and 3 days working at home each week. Some occasional travel to our other offices may be required.
