The National Accounts Regional Manager will drive sales with Home Center and Co-op customers in the Mid-Atlantic region which includes north Long Island, extends south to the Virginia border, and into central Pennsylvania. As a National Accounts Regional Manager you will be responsible for creating and maintaining positive relationships with customers, execution of all National Accounts customer-specific projects, and completing objectives as directed by the Branch and National Accounts teams. This position can be located in Philadelphia, PA or areas north of Philadelphia.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (% of Time)

Create and coordinate National Accounts programs/projects focused on increasing sales and profitability of the branch, while maintaining relationships with Home Center and Co-op customers. (50%)

Manage buying shows including booth layout coordination, staffing and product/program sales. (15%)

Develop and maintain planograms, and perform product resets. (15%)

Demonstrate product installation procedures. Prepare and present insightful and educational presentation for workshops. (10%)

Partner with and educate Branch sales teams on how to sell and maintain Home Center and Co-op customers. (10%)

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree with an emphasis on business or marketing, preferred.
5 years retailer sales and or Home Center account sales experience, preferably in building materials industry
Driving record: Possess and maintain a driving record which complies with company policy.
Customer focus: Quickly and effectively solve customer problems and maintain productive customer relationships. Readily readjust priorities to respond to pressing and changing customer needs. Recognize potentially adverse customer reactions and develop better alternatives.
Speaking and communication: Communicate verbally in an appropriate way for the audience he/she is speaking to. Communicate effectively with co-workers. Listen with full attention to what other people are saying, making sure to understand the needs being expressed, asking questions as appropriate without interrupting at an inappropriate time. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Self-management: Set priorities, goals and timelines to achieve maximum productivity. Manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner. Create his/her travel and work schedule to meet department objectives and customer needs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in both a professional office environment, customer sites and outdoor construction job sites. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers/scanners, etc. The employee occasionally works around moving mechanical parts. Noise level may be loud at times.

TRAVEL REQUIRED

This job requires 50% domestic travel.

WORK STATUS & LOCATION

This full-time, exempt position is based in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Relocation is available for this position.

PAY
$71,600 - $87,000 / year
